Becoming a vendor – FAQ/Information
Fair Revenue Share
We believe in a transparent partnership. PnP Stash takes a flat 30% commission on sales to cover platform costs, payment processing fees, and community marketing. You keep 70% of your earnings.
How Pricing & Taxes Work
To make selling globally easy, you set the Net Price for your game.
- No Tax Headaches: Because these are digital products, tax laws (VAT, Sales Tax) vary by country. The platform automatically calculates and adds the correct tax on top of your price at checkout, based on where the buyer lives.
- Where does the 30% go? We keep our commission standard for the industry, but we use it differently. We don’t just pocket the difference; we reinvest it into the ecosystem. Here is the breakdown of how we use the platform share:
- Payment Processing: We absorb the transaction fees (PayPal/Stripe) so you don’t have to calculate them.
- Platform Costs: Server hosting, security, and maintenance to keep your shop running 24/7.
- Community Growth: This is the big one. A portion of every sale goes directly into funding Community Contests, and Advertising to bring new players to the site.
When you sell on Stash, you aren’t just paying a fee; you are funding the events that bring you more customers.
We market together
The Hard Truth About Advertising Let’s be honest: marketing indie games is expensive. The reality is that for a $2 or $5 PnP product, you simply cannot afford paid advertising. The cost to find a single new customer (Facebook/Instagram ads) is often higher than the price of the game itself. This is why so many great solo projects struggle to get seen.
The Solution: Strength in Numbers This is where PnP Stash changes the math. By pooling our resources, we can advertise Curated Bundles rather than single games. A bundle has a higher value, which makes paid advertising financially viable.
The Joint Effort: Your commission contributes to this collective marketing budget.
The Result: We bring paying customers to the site for the bundles, who then stay to discover and buy your individual games.
We stop fighting alone and start winning together.
