They say the tower used to be a thriving and proud stronghold centuries ago. However, its lord is rumored to have fallen under the influence of a demonic cult and started to perform bizarre rites. First the people of the tower went missing, then the population of the surrounding settlements started disappearing mysteriously. For ages, no one dared to approach the haunted ruin. But now strange silhouettes are getting closer in the dense mist…
The Forgotten Tower is the second mini-expansion to The Lost Village, adding 9 new cards to the game and greatly increasing the challenge.
6 new Monsters arrive from the haunted tower to spread their demonic influence on the village. Among them are the Army of the Dead that gets stronger as more Heroes get to the Graveyard; the spectral Ladies of the Tower that can only be vanquished by magic; and the Doom Messiah, a dark prophet that can only be defeated when the Hellgate is shut down for good.
In the meantime, 3 Heroes have come to the village to aid the defenders: the Coachman who can transport Heroes between the entrances of the village; the Necromancer who can take control of undead enemies and send them against demons; and the Cursed Knight, a legendary champion of humanity, whose fighting prowess has a great price: his soul.
A copy of The Lost Village base game is required to play this mini-expansion.
